Yesterday we had 173 hits on this web site.  That is amazing because I don't even know 172 people but I am glad they are finding the Fairhope Tea Plantation interesting.  Also, everyday I get phone calls, emails and text from all over the USA, and a bit from around the world.  They are very [...]

Yellow Tea

2020-03-23T20:15:47+00:00March 23rd, 2020|

This past October when Mr Weijin visited our farm he told me how to make yellow tea.  So I ran a batch.  Here you can see it compared to our black tea and there is quite a color difference as well as a taste difference.  It taste like white tea to me, very light and [...]

First Flush Baby-bud

2020-03-19T17:41:08+00:00March 19th, 2020|

All the bushes are budding out now and it will be soon I take the "NO TOURS TODAY" sign off my driveway. My neighbors think it is because of the COVID-19!

Dead of Winter

2020-02-06T01:09:52+00:00February 4th, 2020|

Yes, it is the "dead of winter" here even though it is 70 degrees outside.  We are not picking tea now but are involved in many tea field activities, almost every day.  It is like a Christmas tree farm that is active all year and not just at Christmas time. We are doing lots of [...]
