We have finished processing the first flush for this spring. We made 92 pounds of finished tea, including black, Oolong and green teas. We have already sold a good chunck of that with a drive up market going really well. We have had folks from states far away come here for tea, in fact I am expecting a couple from Colorado here in a few minutes.
Speaking of Colorado, my Wife and I spent a week there last week and I had never seen deep snow under a forest of Christmas trees, ice over a lake and snow drifts over head high. I had never hand fed a buffalo! A wonderful vacation.
The second flush is coming on strong. In fact, the volume of tea coming is a bit scary. It is making my arthritic hands hurt just looking at it. But, starting next week, we will dig in and make another hundred pounds of fresh tea.
